Fibromyalgia and Sex

This is a group for people who are diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and the folks who love us. This is also open to traditional and alternative medical professionals and other practitioners who treat Fibromyalgia/CFS. Living a healthy life with daily chronic pain and severe fatigue can be difficult. Trying to have good sex and keep up relationships is an even bigger challenge, so I'm starting this group so we can just encourage each other, share ideas, offer support. Dealing with Fibromyalgia can consume our lives, so this group is just a little reminder that we don't have to let it wreck our sex lives. In fact, sex can really help ease our pain, relax our tense muscles, help us sleep, and keep us in shape. This is a forum where we can share ideas for keeping up a healthy sex life, and staying sexy after the diagnosis. I have been living with Fibromyalgia for 5 years now and have made many lifestyle changes in order to stay as pain-free as possible without taking hard pain drugs. Life is not easy with chronic illness, but I am happy to have achieved some amount of relief through healthy living. I will share more of my story in the near future. Welcome everyone!
