South Jersey's best kept secret "Bare Ass Beach" is a well know historic nude beach located deep in the Wharton State Forest with 2 secluded river front beaches nestled deep in the Batso-Hammonton Pine Barrens. Note sexual activity does happen here but is strictly discouraged as the beach does get men, women, and entire nudist families at times. There are also kayaks & canoes that come down the river. Surprisingly you hear them coming down the river often talking about the "nude beach coming up", so the beaches nudity is well known and surprisingly well tolerated. Though I do recommend bringing an extra towel to cover up to be safe. Note from time to time State Park rangers do issue $50 park tickets but only to "MEN" which do not go on any kind of record which is why the beach is so popular.
