As for the age question...... age really has no bearing on the matter because I've found that age is just a number. A side note to that I tend to stay in the age range of 32-45 just my preference.
The person should be funny, witty, sarcastic as well as being able to be independent, employed and have a good healthy thirst for knowledge.
